Drinking Age

In the US, the drinking age is currently at 21. Should the be decreased to a lower age? Increased?
In Europe, it ranges in the teens. There are some clear benifits to this, such as allowing parents to teach their kids proper drinking habits, and learning to control their drinking before they can even drive (driving age is set at 18).
What are your thoughts? What do you see the pros/cons as?

I don't think there should be a drinking age. But, if you're going to keep it, it should be 18. The reason it is not is because they are trying to get drinking out of highschool, and when certain people in a grade can buy alcohol for the others, that is hard. However, once you're 18, you shouldn't have to wait forever to do things that other adults can do.

I really have no opinion. It's easy for anyone to get alcohol at virtually any age. You can have a drinking age, but that won't stop underage drinking. If anything, I guess it should be lowered to 18.
